Do I have to wear shoes?

Quick answer is YES! No open toed shoes are allowed. All throwers MUST be wearing enclosed shoes.

Can kids come to 13 Axes?

We are an all-inclusive venue that offers a fun and new experience in a safe environment; however,  our venue is not suitable for small children.

Our insurance has a strict requirement that no one under 12 years old be able to enter the venue whilst there are axes on the floor, and those who are 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under 18 years old must provide a Student ID card or proof of age card. This is a condition of entry. 

How old do you have to be to throw?

Throwers can be 12+ ONLY if they are accompanied by an adult who is booked at the same date and time and will be responsible for signing your waiver and supervising you throughout your session. Anyone under 18 years old must provide a Student ID card or proof of age card. This is a condition of entry.

How can I come and throw?

All sessions are currently only available if pre booked. The most important part of our operations is that we keep to the strict guidelines in our Covid Safe Plan, this includes limiting numbers, so all sessions MUST be pre booked before you arrive. (Booking is super easy, just click the BOOK NOW button above and choose your date and time! )
If we have availability, we will advise on our FB page for walk in opportunities. So, keep your eyes open!!

Do you have alcohol?

No…. however, we do have a great range of non-alcoholic beer, cider and wine available for purchase.

Can I drink before coming to throw axes?

If we feel that any guests have had too much to drink, we will refuse entry and your session will be forfeited. This is completely at our discretion and our decision will be final.

How much does it cost?

Each session is $45 per person and includes a safety briefing, axe throwing lesson and then a whole 60-70 minutes of Axe Throwing!
*** Please note, the Safety Briefing and Axe Throwing training portion of your session will generally last around 15-20 mins, however this can vary depending on any additional training requirements. You will not be allowed to enter your throwing lane until we are confident that you can handle the axes safely and understand the safety rules and requirements to keep you, your friends and all of guests safe.

Do I have to sign a waiver to throw?

YES- no waiver, absolutely no entry.
Even if you are only spectating, anyone who enters 13 Axes doors MUST sign a waiver or entry will be refused. Absolutely no discussion will be entered into!

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

YES! We have e-vouchers available for purchase online. We alsohave physical vouchers available in store, so if you would prefer those, you can pop in and and pick one up during our opening hours!

Do you sell food?

13 Axes has a great range of chips, nuts & chocolates available for purchase. We can also arrange cheese, fruit and savoury grazing platters as a pre order option only. At least 3 days’ notice needs to be given for all platter pre orders.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, 13 Axes does not allow outside purchased food and drinks in our venue.
